Step 1: Go to Setting, go to General> Storage & iCloud Usage.

Step 2: Go to Manage Storage.

Step 3: Here you will find a list of all the applications installed on your iPhone or iPad as well as the storage space you are using. You will see a downloaded software update that will also be displayed in this list. Find and click on it, then you just click Delete update is done.

When you delete it, you will no longer receive annoying update prompts. However, the downside is that the update will be downloaded the next time you reboot your computer and connect it to Wi-Fi. Unfortunately, you can not disable the automatic download of software updates, however, i will give you one way to solve this problem:

Although Apple does not allow you to disable the automatic download of software updates, you can block Apple’s updated software domain from your router. This prevents your iPhone from connecting to Apple servers to download updates.

The method to block the Apple software update domain differs from each router. Basically, you open your web based console or router interface and look for an option called “Domain Blocking” or “Domain Block“. There you will enter the following two domains:

  • Appldnld.apple.com
  • Mesu.apple.com

This will prevent your iOS device from connecting to the above domains when an update is available, thus preventing software updates from being downloaded. If you want to update then just delete the domain is done. However, if you connect to other Wifi, it will still download. Basically, updating iOS for iPhone and iPad is good, so if you do the above and you still have the best upgrade.
