Waterproof iPhone: after 48 hours under the ocean iPhone 7 still survived
A diver found the iPhone 7 still alive miraculously even after soaking in the ocean for more than 48 hours.
A report from Digitaltrends said that female divers Cerys Hearsey while diving under the sea saw a light trail appear under the sea. Immediately, Cerys dives deeper and discovers it is the iPhone 7. After putting the iPhone ashore, she discovers that the light is message notification, but surprisingly when it’s still up to 84% of the battery.
With the contact information stored in the machine, Cerys returned the iPhone back to its owner, a Canadian, and a relative named Rob Smith. According to Smith, his cousin dropped his cell phone to the sea when they were kayaking in the Durdle Strait, Dorset, England.
After receiving information from Cerys, the owner of the said iPhone has contacted the Smith couple arranged to meet Cerys because he had returned to Canada. Now the iPhone has been sent back to its real owner, something unexpected because sea water has a very high salt concentration that will cause high damage to an electronic device such as the iPhone.
With a phone that is becoming increasingly important to today’s life, it’s exciting to be able to withstand extreme conditions like sea water.
